The Inactivity function is an excellent feature of the i4Home system to help the elderly or physically challenged when they stay alone.
There are two types of device can be used as Inactivity sensor, Wireless Medical Button, and Motion Sensors.

Wireless Medical Button: Besides the help button itself, there is a vibration sensor in the device. If the vibration sensor has not detected any vibration for about 12 hours (fixed) then the device will send Inactivity Medical Alarm to the system to call for help.
Notice: The user should not leave the button at home if he leaves the house for more than 12 hours, otherwise the Inactivity Alarm will be issued.

Motion Sensors: they can be assigned as Inactivity Sensor.
Put the sensors at where everyday activities will take place, like a bathroom or living room.
If the sensors have not detected any activities for the time set in the Inactivity timer then the system will issue Inactivity Medical Alarm to call for help.
Notice: The user should turn off this function if he leaves the house longer than the Inactivity Time set in the system, otherwise the Inactivity Alarm will be issued.

The Inactivity timer can be set from 0 to 72 hours. If only Wireless Medical Button is used the Inactivity timer should be set as 0 hour
